SPECIALTY PRODUCTS AND CUSTOM MADE
MARTINGALE COLLARS
A martingale is a type of dog collar that provides more control without the choking effect of a slip collar
The martingale was designed for sight hounds because their necks are larger than their heads resulting in them slipping out of a regular collar
Made from two loops. The larger loop (adjustable) is slipped over the dogs’ head onto the neck a lead is then clipped to the smaller loop (D ring). When the dog tries to pull, the tension on the lead pulls the collar taut making the collar tighter on the neck thus preventing escape. Fitted properly the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the lead.
Not recommended to leave on at home – consider using a House Collar for tags at home

A true multipurpose lead
- Pair with a front lead harness utilising the two points of contact (the d ring at the front and the one at the back) using the loop created as the lead
- Length adjustable using the three d rings
- Temporary tether (please don’t leave dogs alone when tethered)
- Use with one end connected to the collar the other to a harness
